A few years back when Dad was serious about adding to his WW2 firearms collection I had free reign to scour forums and online classified ads looking for some missing pieces. At the time he already had his ’43 Springfield Garand, an Inland Marine M1 Carbine (.30 cal), a collector’s grade 1898 8mm Mauser, similar condition Mosin Nagant, 1903 A3 re-barreled and stock fitted for iron sight match shooting (it’s soooooo supreme), an Auto Ordnance (Kahr) reproduction 1927 A1 Thompson Carbine 45 ACP and several others I won’t take the time to list.
