guns south – drugs north. “Cathay” has never paid for the drugs he brought into the US. He should not represent the NRA. He does NOT represent me. He is a FELON, not a LTCOL USMC.

Will I support him? Yes. Do I think he was a good choice. Nope. We have enough lightening rods, we don’t need to manufacture them.

Only snowflakes and/or rinos worry about him being a “lightning rod”. The gun grabbers are going to demonize anyone who heads or belongs to the nra.

The problem is he supported banning ar15s.

“North was tried in 1988. He was indicted on 16 felony counts, and on May 4, 1989, he was initially convicted of three: accepting an illegal gratuity, aiding and abetting in the obstruction of a congressional inquiry, and ordering the destruction of documents through his secretary, Fawn Hall. He was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Gerhard Gesell on July 5, 1989 to a three-year suspended prison term, two years probation, $150,000 in fines, and 1,200 hours of community service. North performed some of his community service within Potomac Gardens, a public housing project in southeast Washington, DC. However, on July 20, 1990, with the help of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), North’s convictions were vacated, after the appeals court found that witnesses in his trial might have been impermissibly affected by his immunized congressional testimony.

So is he still a prohibited person?

With NO power to effect change, what difference does it make? Wayne, Chris and their leg humping followers like things just the way they are! FUDDS.

He did Iran-Contra? Big hairy deal, Nicaragua underwent a peaceful transition from a communist dictator to a democratically-elected president because of what he did.

He lost his gun permit because some liberal judge felt butt-hurt that North didn’t get jail time from Iran-Contra? Big hairy deal, anybody who tells a decorated combat Marine he isn’t fit to carry a gun because of “moral turpitude” obviously has only a whisker-thin acquaintance with reality.

But he did back Klinton’s AWB, and once a leper, always a leper. The NRA already sold us down the river on the bump-fire stock ban, and with LtCol North at the helm, our evil black rifles can’t be far behind.

Cancel your NRA memberships and redirect the money to the Second Amendment Foundation, Gun Owners of America or Jews for Preservation of Gun Ownership (they admit gentiles, too), because they’re still doing God’s work on 2A and RKBA. What’s happened to the NRA is what always happens to large organizations that have no significant competition and no fear of being eclipsed: they lose the fire in their belly.

If he supported an “assault weapons ban” which he did in 94 then no. Honestly the NRA sucks and is not in defending our rights as gun owners. I am tired of their compromising attitude. My rights are not up for a compromise.

I’m not a fan. If he once support an “assault weapons” ban then what is to say he won’t do it again in the face of more staged protests associated with a school shooting?

His concealed carry permit in VA was denied when up for renewal. The judge who declined to renew the permit had previously approved the permit two years earlier. Interesting the judge suddenly discovered Mr. North’s moral turpitude when Ollie was a republican candidate for state office. Google it.

I like the choice of Ollie. High visibility and well known.

He lost his rights to have a concealed permit didn’t he?
I don’t think it is right for him to be head of the NRA if tht is true.
