    I won’t answer for the woman in the video. But this is what I do.

    Tell the clerk/gunsmith what I have and that it is:
    Unloaded, of course.
    In a case with the action open.
    Cable lock or zip tie through the action.
    No live ammo or loaded magazines in the case.
    Wait for clerk/gunsmith direction/permission to open the case.

    I know which is the muzzle end of the firearm, and orient in a safe direction before I open the case.

    I agree 100% with your request. Yes it would give a bad out come to push more laws about guns. Keep it under control.

    I understand the rule about not pulling your gun out in the gun store, but it would be nice to know what the proper protocol for bringing a weapon into your store for a holster fit or gunsmith work so everyone is on the same page.
