Here in South Carolina there are very few restrictions on deer hunting, but DNR recommends at least a .243 although .223/556 is not illegal. As to handguns, most use a large caliber revolver with 8″ to 12″ barrels and generally 44 caliber or larger and with scopes or red dots.
Personally I would use at least a 308Win or 30-06 Springfield scope rifle.
Sure, now there are going to be a bunch of unsafe crazies going to try to hunt with a 3″ barrel.
What in the name of hunting safety, hunting education, humane carry video is this.
I am a hunting education instructor I’d say you are doing mode damage to the hunting community than any anti-gun nut out there.
And it’s not the pistol that punches hard, it’s the round. Any other pistol would have done the same.
Shame Shame Shame
