Slate is using more tired statistics that “a good guy with a gun” is a myth. As if we would have a Second Amendment if it were not a societal benefit. Imagine the founding fathers creating a right to be disarmed amendment. About as stupid as their claims.
They even correlate suicides with more guns, when Japan has a substantially higher suicide rate than the U.S., and basically no firearm ownership. Never mind that with increasing gun sales crime has gone down. It’s good to see AWR Hawkins lay the smack down. …read more
