U.S Senator John Thune, has introduced a bill limiting the EPA from regulating, lead ammunition and fishing tackle. The bill heads off environmentalists who want to ban lead ammunition. The Obama administration isn’t likely to go along. Not that it’s in the EPA’s jurisdiction to regulate lead used in ammunition. As the courts have ruled. Thune says, “It’s something that’s very important to the sportsman community and we’ve been working this issue for a number of years.”
