During a recent product seminar with Remington Outdoor Company, a top official with sister company AAC said the top mission for silencer makers is to “educate the public” on the benefits and availability of suppressors. Chief among that awareness campaign is to continue to push for changes to state game laws to allow for suppressor use while hunting.The logic is that if more shooters use suppressors for hunting and recreation, the closer we’ll be to changing the National Firearms Act that since the 1930s has made suppressors tough to buy and expensive as heck with a $200 tax.Well, things seem …read more
