SC State Rep. Creates The Second Amendment Education Act

Today’s zero tolerance policies in schools have wreaked havoc on common sense in education. A case in point is in South Carolina. Where a high school student was arrested for writing a fictional essay that included shooting a dinosaur. South Carolina state Rep. Alan Clemmons says that this inspired him to create the Second Amendment Education Act. Which is long overdue.

Under his proposal, high school students would receive three weeks of instruction on the Bill of Rights with a special emphasis on the Second Amendment during a state-mandated grading period focused on the U.S. Constitution. …read more
