The idea that a revolver never jams up is complete fallacy. Revolvers are very reliable, but when things go wrong that revolver is out of the fight. If you mistreat your revolver you can end up with a bent crane, a cylinder that is out of time, or one of a couple different broken springs that renders your revolver nothing more than a club. A bent crane, a worn out ratchet or hand, or a problem with the cylinder can lead to accuracy problems, locked cylinders, and in rare cases catastrophic malfunction that can injure you or destroy your gun.
