Here we have a couple of videos showing the great projectile stopping abilities of AR500 steel. It pretty much stops everything as far as small arms are concerned. Though if you watch near the end of the FPSRussia video, you’ll see a .50 BMG round penetrate through the armor, like it’s butter. But notice the sparks. Is Dmitri using an armor piercing incendiary round? Not that I don’t think a standard ball round wouldn’t penetrate. I just wish he would expand on the particular choice of ammo.
