Column: Sarasota County Park's officials accused of violating preemption law

Bill Chamberlain, a 51-year-old painting contractor and Sarasota native, has been banned from shooting his Barrett .50 caliber rifle at the range at Knight’s Trail Park. Sarasota County Parks officials instituted the ban six months ago.
