Last night while you were sleeping a disabled man had his front door kicked in by two thugs.

In Martinsburg, W.Va, one intruder was fatally shot and another got away when they tried to rob an elderly disabled man in his home Friday night, police said. The man who was killed was identified as Ronald Stotler, according to a news release from the Martinsburg Police Department. Officers said Stotler was taken from the scene of the home invasion on Winchester Avenue to Berkeley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. A second intruder, who authorities described as a black male, fled before officers arrived.
