Steven Ricker has been in and out of jail 11 times since 2006. At about 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, 1 February, he was shot and killed. The Leesburg resident who shot him says that Ricker was attempting to force his way into his family’s apartment. The manager of the apartment complex says that Ricker had banged on his door first, and that he appeared to be high and searching for drugs. The manager thought Ricker had left, until he heard the gunshot. Video at the link.
