HOUSTON, TX – A late-night altercation at a sports bar in the Denver Harbor area led to a shooting that left two men injured and raised serious questions about the actions of a man who took matters into his own hands. The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. on Saturday at a bar along Lyons Avenue and Boyles.

According to the Houston Police Department, the trouble began when a waitress discovered her phone missing from behind the bar where two customers had been drinking. Both injured men are expected to survive. The shooter and the waitress remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. Investigators are now working with the district attorney’s office to determine whether charges will be filed against the shooter.
