Earlier this afternoon I got a call from Kathryn, a New York-based producer for the British television network ITV, which is a BBC competitor. She asked me if I would be willing to appear on their “Good Morning Brittain” show tomorrow, which is live and would have entailed going to a local studio at 2 a.m. my time. Kathryn was somewhat vague, but said they wanted to have a discussion about “guns and the Second Amendment,” and why the United States is the only country in the world with such protections for its citizens.
