Seattle Encounter Turns Violent: Man Stabbed and Robbed, Suspect Shot and Arrested – USA Carry

SEATTLE, WA – Last night in Seattle, a violent encounter left a 20-year-old man seriously injured and resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old suspect. The incident unfolded in the 700 block of 5th Avenue around 10:00 p.m., shortly after the victim exited a Metro bus near 4th Avenue and Columbia Street.

According to the police report , the victim was robbed of his scooter and then stabbed multiple times by the suspect. The victim managed to produce a pistol and fired several rounds at the suspect before fleeing northbound on 4th Avenue and then eastbound on 5th Avenue.

Seattle Police Department officers arrived on the scene provided immediate medical aid until Seattle Fire Department personnel arrived. The victim sustainied injuries that appeared life-threatening and was subsequently transported to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.

The King County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation by obtaining surveillance footage from the bus, which captured the altercation. This footage led to the dissemination of the suspect’s description, and shortly thereafter, a man matching that description was located nearby at 5th Avenue South and South Holgate Street.

The suspect was found to be in possession of multiple knives and had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He received medical treatment from Seattle Fire Department and was later transported to Harborview Medical Center. The suspect, once medically cleared, will be booked into King County Jail for robbery.
