Hansard said Kevin Hamilton, 33, was placed into custody for other warrants out for his arrest. A pat down search of his person reportedly revealed a .40 caliber pistol, fully loaded, in his waistband.
In addition to active warrants for failure to pay fines on domestic battery, failure to pay fines on public intoxication, and parole violation, Hamilton was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm on school property.
