Footage from the November 2014 – .22 LR Marksmen Challenge held by Rodney Downs on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Hobble Creek Shooting Range in Springville, Utah. The 22 LR Marksmen Challenge features a final target smaller than the diameter of a Sharpie marker, at 25 yards. These shooters have probably spent more on their .22LRs than most folks do on their AR-15s, but what sets them apart from the crowd is rock-solid technique and position that have resulted from a lot of practice. Shooting in the cold through falling snow just adds to the level of difficulty.
