(Photo: ISP) This week the agency will no longer be accepting paper applications for the Firearm Owner Identification card, which a resident must obtain before buying a gun or ammo. Starting March 16, FOID card applications will only be accepted through the agency’s website or by a paper alternative call center. Residents under the age of 21 and Amish applicants will be required to complete the call-in paper application.
