OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex became the scene of a tense standoff. Three suspects attempted to break into an apartment at the Mission Place Apartments, leading to a confrontation with the resident. The dispute escalated, resulting in one of the intruders being shot. The injured suspect was rushed to the hospital, though their condition remains unknown. Police are now on the lookout for the two remaining suspects, whose identities have yet to be disclosed.

READING, PA –  On Thursday night, March 7, 37-year-old Timothy Harris forced his way into a residence on the 100 block of South 5th Street. Upon encountering the residents, Harris attacked two of them, only to be shot in the leg. Despite his injury, Harris managed to flee the scene but was soon apprehended by police. He received medical treatment at Reading Hospital before being charged with criminal trespassing, assault, and related offenses. Authorities have decided not to file charges against the resident who shot Harris.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL – In Jefferson County, Alabama, another break-in led to a fatal shooting . Keenan Orl Phillips, 33, entered a home in McCalla around 4:30 a.m. on Friday. An altercation ensued between Phillips and the occupants, culminating in gunfire that resulted in Phillips’ death. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office disclosed that Phillips and the occupants were acquainted. Detectives from the Jefferson County Criminal Division are investigating to understand the events leading up to the shooting fully.
