It’s amazing how many freedoms are taken away under the guise of “security” and terrorism concerns. The police union in the United Kingdom is now telling police to snoop on gun owners and secure their weapons using anti-terror laws. The Association of Chief Police Officers’ (ACPO) has started a campaign for police to enter the homes of law abiding gun owners in order to keep tabs on their weapons and search their property. And while these actions are being called anti-terrorism campaigns it looks more like another attempt to discourage gun ownership for our friends across the sea.
