“Victim” Sends Carjacker Fleeing After Fighting Back – USA Carry

VANCOUVER, WA – This guy knows where his line in the sand is after a thug tries to take his car.

The thug entered the driver’s door, and the would-be victim jumped in through the passenger’s door as the guy put it in reverse. The person they tried to turn into a victim won in the end, as you can see in the video.

I spoke with Bill Black, the guy this happened to, who is out of Vancouver, Washington. Bill said, “I had a split second to either become a victim or go bat sh*t crazy on the bad guy.” Well, Bill chose bat sh*t crazy.

These guys had targeted him, and he didn’t even know it.

Bill has a Washington Concealed Pistol License (CPL) and often carries a handgun, but he didn’t have it with him that day.

I asked him why he wasn’t carrying a gun that day. He said, “I was going to a business lunch and had on “slim” slacks, so it bulged out, and I felt it was a “safe” day.”

Here’s his description of the attack:

“I went straight into a headlock with my left arm while taking a couple of punches. I yelled, “I have a gun, and I’m going to blow your F#&$in brains out.” I kept throwing swings while ripping off his face cover and hat to get a good look at his face.”

I’ll give him credit for putting up a fight and using a successful bluff. He was well aware he was taking a risk, and it was his risk to take.

Needless to say, his outlook on that has changed. He thinks the State of Washington has gone too far with laws that protect the bad guys. Like many people, he’s had enough of the criminals getting away with everything and is trying to make a difference by pushing for better laws.

At least he learned, unlike many people, and said, “I’m a novice in this arena- shame on me for taking a carjacking to step up and learn how we can be a part of the change.”

He did a great job of writing out what happened and how he felt. It’s not often someone involved in an incident will write their own story , and he doesn’t consider any day to be a “safe” day after this.

You never know when you might be the victim, and if you do not have your firearm on you, you will not be able to use it if you need it. I gave Bill some recommendations for holsters so that, in the future, he can make sure he has his gun on him, no matter what.
